Review and Giveaway: Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner

by Kay Lynn

I was thrilled when offered the chance to review the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner for two reasons.  One this is a brand I’ve been using for more years than I care to admit and second because I hate to clean.  Anything that has the potential to make the job easier was worth trying.

The Product

The Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner box included the cleaning solution and an action sprayer.  The battery-powered sprayer automatically makes a 360 degree sweep three times a day to keep the toilet fresh and clean by tackling toilet rings, lime scale and hard water marks.

My husband was able to get the action sprayer setup in no time.  It’s important to start out with a clean toilet for best results.  Each refill lasts approximately one month.  This product is available for purchase at Amazon.com or Drugstore.com.

My Experience

Once we got used to the action sprayer automatically cleaning, using it was a breeze.  We put it in our downstairs bathroom which is the most heavily used and it kept the toilet bowl clean and sparkly without any effort on my part.

I wouldn’t use the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner in all my bathrooms due to the expense but think it is worth it to make sure the guest bath has a clean toilet bowl at all times.

I pick a different room everyday to clean… on Mondays, I do bathrooms, Tuesdays, kitchen, and so on…. this makes me feel as if I have achieved something everytime!

My cleaning tip is to use a Magic Eraser on anything that you hate to clean. it seems to make cleaning easier and I dread it a little less!

My favorite cleaning tip would have to be to clean as you go! Sounds easy enough but I didn’t always do this. If I always clean up as I’m cooking, it does not feel like such a big task when I am done. I have my daughter clean up the toy she is playing with before she gets another one out. This has made our house so much cleaner and with less clutter and it makes it so I don’t have as much work around the house every single day and I can spend it with my daughter!

when i start cleaning- i estimate how long it will take me to clean the area i am doing and i set the timer- then i race to beat it…helps me move quicker and stay on task.

I have a cleaning schedule that I stick to that helps keep the house in order. I like this because I don’t have so much to do in one day.

Clean as soon as you make a mess, the less you will have to do because it does not accumulate.
