Subscriber Cash Giveaway!

by Kay Lynn

Rent

Would some extra cash help you during the holiday season?  Than this giveaway is for you!

My original subscriber goal for 2010 was 100.  When I hit that in the summer, it was revised to 200 subscribers by the end of this year.  I’m close (some days closer than others depending on feedburner quirkiness) but about 25-30 people away from that goal.

To reward those who do subscribe and hopefully entice new subscribers, I’m going to give away $25 cash via Paypal to one entrant.  The winner will be drawn when I hit 200 subscribers for several days in a row or December 15th; whichever comes first.

The catch is you must enter the code that is at the bottom of my posts via email or reader subscription.    Thank you reading and commenting.  I keep going because of your feedback.  Good luck!

Awesome! I also entered my code 🙂

@Anja and @Legally Married: Thank you for the comments (and subscribing). I figure this is a way to attract new readers AND reward the ones I got.

Cool- I hope you reach your goal! RSS and email subscribers are so much harder to get than twitter followers, I find 🙁

Kay Lynn November 28, 2010 at 12:44 pm

I hope this motivates readers to subscribe as well. If every twitter follower was a regular reader, that would be fantastic!

Look at me. Being a better blog friend and coming out of the reader to enter the contest. Your comment made me do it! xoxo.

Awwww, I didn’t expect that but am loving your visit!

P.S. I hope you come to Bloggy Boot Camp in San Diego in March; not too far from you!

Wow, interesting giveaway, and congrats on getting so many subscribers! I’ve been hovering in the mid-twenties, myself, so I apparently need to apply myself a lot more to catch up to you. Keep up your great work, and I’ll be sure to pass along info about this to my readers!

Roger, you took a break so the difference is understandable. I’m sure many of the readers are fellow Yakezie members and challengers. I’m not complaining, just grateful!

Ohh.. that’s actually a clever way to do it. Never thought about using feedburner this way.

I can’t take credit for the idea. I think I got it from Mrs. Accountability at Out of Debt Again.

Very neat little giveaway idea (even if you got it from somewhere else, that makes it no less clever 😉 ). Here’s hoping you reach your goal, as you deserve plenty of eager subscribers.

So easy: you are great about giveaways! I entered my code!

Thanks, Barbara. Good luck!

I signed up for the email but it never came. Is there a way to resend it? I tried signing up again but feedburner said I was already subscribed.

Hi Heather,

Thank you for signing up. I see that your email address is active. The email is sent once a day when a post is published. You’ll get one today.

I went and ahead and entered you in the subscriber cash giveaway so you won’t have to remember to get back there.

Heather Simone December 1, 2010 at 10:45 am

Kay,

I got the email. I was just going to enter this one and saw that you already entered me.

Thanks!

I signed up for the email but it never came, I’ve been waiting idly for 15 mins now 🙂 I tried signing up again but it doesn’t work..what should I do?…Thanks.
