Tuesday Tidbits: Birthday Edition

by Kay Lynn

Thank you Fab 4!  (If you don’t see the video click through to the website to hear the Beatles.)  Yes,  today is my birthday.

I will be in the office for much of the day but am heading out mid-afternoon for a movie and dinner.  We plan to see Clash of the Titans in 3D.  It’ll be a good day.

Giveaways

The reason for this post are two personal finance blog giveaways that you must know about.

1. $100 Cash @ Ultimate Money Blog.  Ends Tax day (4/15 for non-Americans).  Who doesn’t need cash?

2. TurboTax Gift Card @ Personal Finance Ninja. He’s giving away a card today this week so hurry up and enter. It’s good for one free federal and state preparation and e-file.

Thanks, Jersey Mom. The movie was entertaining. It was shorter than I expected (maybe Avatar has set new standards?).

BB,
Have a great birthday. I gathered from reading your comments on your recent Carnival of Money Stories post that we must be about the same vintage…you not only remember 8 track players, you had one installed in your car. Me too! Enough about this age business…just enjoy your birthday, as I know you will.

Hi Joe, nice to know you’re another boomer. Yes, let’s stop that age talk now….

Happy belated birthday! I hope you enjoyed your day. I’m sure the Clash of the Titans 3D brought back some memories. I hope to see it soon. I have fond memories of the ’80’s version 😉

Thanks, Little House. The movie was entertaining but I still like the original.
