Week in Review: Surprises Edition

by Kay Lynn

Clowning Around
Today is Mr. Boomer’s birthday and it’s one of those special ones with a zero at the end.  For his birthday I arranged for two of his adult “kids” to fly into town from Arkansas for a week.  (The youngest is overseas with the Army.)

Pulling this off was not easy but it was definitely worth it.  He’s very happy to get to spend time with them.  Tonight we’ll have the official birthday dinner to include my two sons but it’ll be a party for him all week!

Since this was the week for surprises, there’s one coming this week related to bucksomeboomer.com so stay tuned!

Happy birthday to Mr. Boomer and congrats to you for getting the kids home. Looking forward to hearing what the surprise is.

Doesn’t all this technology stuff drive you crazy?? CommentLuv isn’t picking up my posts because of a feed problem … and now I have unban myself from there … bummer 🙁

Hi Mandy,

Mr. Boomer told my sister I gave him the best present ever. That made it all worthwhile.

Yes, technology is a challenge for blogging. That is also what makes it fun. I’m just glad it was so easy to get resolved; usually most things aren’t!
