Weekend Scoop: 500th Post Edition

by Kay Lynn

500 Euro

This is the 500th post to be published at Bucksome Boomer!  I remember once reading another blog where the author mentioned the number of posts published and stressed how they were serious posts unlike the post of some other bloggers.

I can’t claim all my posts were serious, but I felt they were relevant.   Next month we’ll celebrate two years and the 500 plus posts with  a giveaway bash!

These are five most popular posts out of those 500 in case you missed them the first time around.

Wow, Kay Lynn. You’ve been a busy beaver! Congratulations on your 500th post!! 🙂

You know, as of today that’s 17 more than me, and I think I started about 6 or 7 months earlier than you. Obviously I can’t write — or think, for that matter — as fast as you. 🙂

All the best,

Len

Congratulations Kay Lynn,

500 posts is a lot more than I have on my blog. But, of course, all of my posts are serious. 🙂 Here’s to 500 more.

@ Miss T: Thanks for the kuds.
@ Sustainable PF: You’ll be to 500 sooner than you think.
@ Cashflowmantra: I am a busy writer, but can’t take credit for all of them; there are about 50 guest posts in there.
@ Donna: Thanks; one day I’m going to win one of your giveaways. 🙂
@ Hunter: I agree about celebrating the milestones.
@ Len: I must say your articles are typically meatier than mine; I have a short attention span, LOL!
@ Bret: You were not the blogger I was referencing :). My kids are grown so I have this free time at night while my husband watches TV.
@ Untemplater: Thanks for letting me know you liked that post. Too bad you needed those tips!
@ Mike: I had no idea that would be such a popular post, but I inadvertently used a good search engine keyword.

@ Maggie, Thanks for the kind words. You can probably tell I thought that blogger was full of himself!
@ J. Money, I think you’ll beat me to 5,000 but it’s a friendly race, right? I’ll keep you updated on future giveaways!
