Yesterday, we managed to spend nearly $3,000 in a few hours. We bought a bedroom set to replace the 25 year old set in use now. We’re moving that one to my new guest room. It’s funny that we just bought our first (and probably last) bedroom set together after 16 years of marriage!
I also got a new cell phone. My Droid battery could barely make it through half a day without recharging and I have several trips coming up in the next three months.
I stayed with the Android OS and got a Droid Charge by Samsung. It’s 4G and I’m loving the speed. Two years ago I didn’t even have a smartphone and now I can’t imagine being without it.

This week’s Couple Money article by yours truly was about happiness and gratitude. The topic seems to have resonated.
Tomorrow I’m hosting the Carnival of Personal Finance. I think all bloggers that participate in carnivals need to host. That’s why I appreciate these blogs that featured articles from Bucksome Boomer.
