Did you score any deals during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales? I bought several things on my list but one item induced a great deal of amusement in my family. As you probably tell from the title, I bought a Xbox and Kinect bundle.
The amusement is because I’m not a gamer. But I didn’t buy it for traditional gaming.
You see, I haven’t been doing well in my weight battle this year. I know exercise is an important component to losing weight and keeping it off, but I dread most exercise activities.
My thought is I won’t notice the fact I’m exercising when playing with the Xbox because I love dancing! I’ll let you know how it is working out in a couple of months.

Thank you for the mention.
Best of luck in your dancing. I have the Wii/Wii Fit, and it serves that purpose for me (well, except when I’m doing the actual exercises), as long as I get off my duff and, you know, actually play on the Wii.
Shanedoah, that’s the hard part, but I plan to be motivated to get in better shape before a Hawaii vacation in the spring.
Thanks for the mention!! Hope you are well.
Heh. My husband and I were just talking today about the Kinect. We already have an xbox360, and I wanted to buy a Kinect bundle, but I didn’t think it had any games he wanted to play. Turned out it was a total miscommunication and I lost out on a great holiday bundle. I guess there’s always craigslist!
Andi, that’s too bad. There were some great deals.
The wii is fun too for tennis, games, boxing etc. Any way to keep moving is good.
Barb, I agree that anyway we can find to keep us active can’t be bad!
Thanks for mentioning my t-shirt giveaway!
